With the release date of Beastly drawing near, the movie's stars
Vanessa Hudgens and
Alex Pettyfer have released several promos to encourage fans to watch. The High School Musical starlet appeared in another sneak peek for the film, wherein she takes the fans behind the scenes to talk about the big project. Well, the lead actor's in it too.
Just Jared Jr. posted the clip online, and you can watch it below. There are more scenes with Vanessa Hudgens now, as compared to the trailer that was released earlier. It certainly looks like she's gone a long way from High School Musical.
On Beastly, the 21-year-old actress plays Lindy, the romantic interest of the main character. Since this is a modern retelling of the classic Beauty and the Beast, we can bet she's playing the former.
"Lindy is the girl in school who goes unnoticed but of course has a crush on the popular guy [Kyle]," the High School Musical star explained. "As soon as he changes, he starts to take note in her."
"She really finds the true him, the one that he didn't know was in him," the actress went on. Not much of a twist to the Beauty and the Beast tale, but there are high expectations for Beastly already. For one thing, the stars have just been nominated as ShoWest's Stars of Tomorrow.
Joining Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens in Beastly are Neil Patrick Harris and Mary-Kate Olsen. It seems like an interesting choice of cast members, which definitely puts Beastly on the map. Of course, the experience was definitely amazing for the actors.
"Working on Beastly was incredible," Hudgens declared. "I had so much fun."
