She has famously forked out £1.5million for an unrivalled collection of designer Hermes bags.
But maybe Victoria Beckham is keen to make savings in other areas, as unusually, the fashionista wore the same outfit for the whole day - even choosing to stay in it to cheer husband David on at Wembley.
She certainly got her money's worth from the cream dirndl miniskirt, and sheer top which earlier in the day generated headlines all of its own.
It was a rare style blip for the former Spice Girl who has made a name for herself in the fashion world with her sell-out range of posh frocks.
Victoria started her day early, leaving her west London hotel at 9am to head to a meeting at her management company.
She re-emerged from the hotel at 7.30pm, where she had made a quick stop. Soon after she headed to Wembley Stadium where David was earning his 112th cap playing for England against Andorra.
It appears she left herself no time to change. Even without opting for another look for the game, she was still 30 minutes late for the 8.15 kick-off, arriving at the stadium at 8.45pm. Following the 6-0 victory, Victoria and David were seen leaving the stadium at 11.30pm.
But David looked grim-faced and Victoria slightly stressed as she chatted away on her mobile phone.
Earlier in the day Victoria's appearance drew comment for entirely different reasons.
On any other day it might have been her outsize sunglasses or the tasselled ankle straps on her shoes that drew comment.
But as Victoria Beckham left Claridge's in London yesterday, it was her sheer black top - and what may or may not have been under it - that was the centre of attention. While the 35-year-old former Spice Girl had clearly decided to go without a bra, some commentators were left wondering if she had also joined a growing band of women following a bizarre fashion trend to show off protruding nipples.
Some have gone so far as to have surgical augmentation, while others are said to wear 'stick-ons'.

Mrs Beckham's spokesman was last night adamant that neither was the case, and that a chilly wind was a more likely explanation. (The Met Office reported that yesterday's temperature was quite mild.)
Others suggested that she had opted for what fashionistas call 'nipplets', which are prosthetic breast covers which enhance size.
Retailers say they have proved extremely popular with British women after being worn by the character Samantha in U.S. comedy drama Sex And The City.
Mrs Beckham first experimented with the look two years ago when she plumped for a pair of flower-shaped breast covers.
The devices, which claim to be ' natural-looking and discreet under tight fabrics and mould to the breast', sell for as little as £3 a pair.
A designer at lingerie supplier Saramax said: 'Fakes gained popularity after Samantha wore them in Sex And The City.
'But they have always been used by women, especially in the fashion industry, to "even out" breasts so they look perfect on the catwalk and in photoshoots.'
However, some critics might enjoy comparing Mrs Beckham's pert look to that of a shop window mannequin.
